Winger remembered for being one of the top players ever to play for the Clydebank, Rangers and Motherwell soccer clubs. He won league titles with all three clubs, including thirteen with Motherwell, and was inducted into the Scottish Football Hall of Fame.
He grew up a supporter of Rangers FC and attended St. John’s Grammar School.
He passed away at the age of 39 after suffering a brain hemorrhage during the filming of a coaching video for Scottish television called Shoot.
He had been separated from his wife Christine for six years at the time of his death.
