Otherwise known as TruDog, he was the son of Christian rapper TobyMac and appeared on several of his father’s albums including This is Not a Test and Eye on It. 

He made his musical debut in 2001 on the track “Extreme Days” from TobyMac’s album Momentum.

He was a member of the rap duo HySociety, with whom he released original music on SoundCloud. 

He was born to TobyMac and Amanda Levy McKeehan. He was raised alongside four siblings: Moses, Marlee, Leo, and Judah. 

In 2015, he was featured on Hollyn’s self-titled EP under the simplified pseudonym Tru.
